On our way to Freedom!
“WHOAA!!!” I yell as I scoot back as far as I can. As soon as my brain catches up with what my eyes are perceiving I feel suddenly not as confident as before I sat down. I try to take a deep breath as I sit here, but I can’t seem to get any amount of oxygen in. Just then I hear him off to my right.
“Lewis, how are you, my friend?”
“Uh, I’ve been better,” I say as my voice trembles.
“Lewis are you scared of heights?”
“More like terrified,” I say still looking out in front of me.
“Oh my, then why are you so close to the edge?” He says laughing.
“Very funny, how do I get off of here?”

So many voices...
I read this verse this morning, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Isaiah 26:3
There are so many voices going out right now declaring “this is good, and this is bad, and you can trust this, but don’t trust that.” It is all very confusing and most of us feel as if we are in the spin cycle of our washing machine.

My dearest friend,
I cannot imagine from your place what it feels like to be living through these tumultuous times. How I wish I had been able to bring you up here to stay with me before this all began.
But I know there is much benefit to us walking through the storms of life, even more than being delivered out of them. However, it still breaks my heart to know of the pain and fear you must continue to fight through.
