Confound the world with Peace.
Faith is necessary in the darkest times.
Do you stand there in the uncertainty, knowing who is right beside you, or are you searching for any sign of His existence?
Those who have gone on before us, laying down their lives in the most beautiful act of love, martyrdom, knew the One who stood beside them.
There are many opportunities for us to evaluate the level of our own faith. Do we surrender to a process that must take place, or do we fight and fight to keep what is comfortable to our flesh?
In order to endure the tragedies and traumas of life, we must know Jesus as a friend. You see, when the clock began to tick, and time began, there were paths drawn into the earth for all of mankind. Some would twist and turn more than others, but each path was originally intended to lead a person home. If we are creating our own paths and destinies, then I’m afraid we will never truly find home. But if we are following the One who created our path, then we will never be alone, and we will always have enough, as long as our eyes perceive the way that He perceives.
These are not uncertain times for those who know who they are and Whose they are. These are the times when your faith is revealed for what it is.
May we be the ones that confound the world with our peace in the midst of tragedy.
This song represents where our hearts need to be amidst any trial and trauma that surrounds us. We are not of this world, and so therefore, it's practices and paths can not bring us to freedom.
